About me and my experience

28 years old full-stack developer and Web Performance specialist based in Belgrade, with experience creating fast websites for hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses.

My name is Aleksei (Call me Alex)

I'm originally from Chelyabinsk. I spent the last few years in the lovely city of Tbilisi, Georgia, and I'm currently based in Belgrade, Serbia.

I love helping businesses grow by digitizing processes and optimizing them.

I'm passionate about so many things, like traveling, cooking, and music.

Experience

Before I moved into full-stack development, I worked as a UI/UX designer and frontend developer for small businesses: landing pages, marketing websites and lead-capture integrations.

My initial creative approach and attention to detail allowed me to grow not only as a front-end developer, but also as someone close to a product designer with a technical bent.

At the end of 2024, I started learning backend development, and I'm so happy to say that I'm now able to create products on my own. I'm thrilled to take responsibility for the entire process, from market analysis to testing how users interact with the website or application.

Today I focus on web performance: Core Web Vitals, technical SEO and making products ready for both classic search engines and AI search.

Performance is not an afterthought for me — it is part of the architecture. Across 20+ production projects I have built a repeatable process: performance budgets before launch, Core Web Vitals measurement in the field (RUM), and ongoing monitoring so that speed does not degrade over time.
